Here are Five Easy Steps To The PACE 12 Minute Fitness Revolution:

1. Choose a challenge. Choose an activity that challenges you. For one person it might be walking for one minute. For someone else, it might be sprinting full blast. You can workout at home with weights, an exercise bike or real  bike, rowing machine, stair stepper, a treadmill, a jump rope or use any one of the simple body weight exercises that Dr. Sears provided in the PACE 12 Minute Fitness Revolution.

2. Warm Up.  Start your activity slowly to get your blood flowing.  Pay close attention to how your body responds and warm up for two minutes.

3.  Challenge you body. Once you’ve warmed up , crank up the intensity.   Whatever form of exertion that you choose, start a level that you are comfortable with and put some extra effort into what you do.  Exert yourself for only a minute or two at a time.

4. Rest and Recover .   Just Relax…Notice your heartbeat and keep track of how long it takes you to get back to normal.  According to Dr. Sears your recovery period is your true measure of the shape that you are in.  Take as long as you need to recover but when you catch your breath,  its time to challenge your body again with another exertion.

5.  Repeat. Repeat the challenge followed by rest four to six times.  This entire process should not take you more than 10-12 minutes.

Dr. Sears says that you do not want to exert yourself for more than 20 minutes per day or you will actually downsize your heart and lungs and harm your health in the long run.

The ” Harvard Alumni Health Study backs him up …it condluded that short bursts of intense exertion actually lower your risk of heart disease and death.

Just start PACE The 12 Minute Fitness Revolution right where you are and build on your current fitness level.

You can do it if you follow these five easy steps.
