In 2005 Dr. Al Sears conducted a clinical twin study that had results that appear to defy logic for anyone taught to believe that cardio or aerobic exercise is better.

The study involved 18 year old twin women with identical body composition measurements.
At the beginning of the study both twins would run a mile each three times weekly.
Over the 16 week period the “PACE” twin increased the intensity of her workout in small increments. This “progressivity” as Dr. Sears calls it is the key to his PACE quick exercise program.
By the time the study ended the PACE twin was sprinting for six exercise sets.
Each set she would run for fifty yards followed by 30 seconds of recovery time for a total of ten minutes of exercise .
Meanwhile her twin sister was performing a traditional cardio routine by jogging for 10 miles daily.
The results of The PACE Twin study are astounding to say the least.
Overall the PACE twin lost 125% more fat than her cardio performing sister and the PACE twin gained 9 pounds of muscle while her sister actually lost muscle.
You might call this study a fluke except for the fact that Dr. Sears states that he has six file cabinets full of reports that he has recieved from thousands of clients from around the world who say that his PACE program has worked for them.
Whats even more amazing is that PACE is so flexible that you can work out at home or anywhere using a treadmill,exercise bike, rowing machine, jump rope, bike, stair climber or you can perform calisthenics or use your own bodyweight.
What if everything you thought you knew about exercise is wrong?
Dr. Sears says that cardio is dead and that it never worked.
It is both refreshing and liberating to know that you do not have to work out for hours on end and that a 12 minute workout with progressivity built in is better than a long boring workout.
In fact Dr. Sears says that PACE not only will help you to lose fat it will also help to expand your lungs and bullet proof your heart to help prevent a heart attack in the future.
