<p>I found you an incredible video that will interest you if you would like to workout without weights at home, on the road, your office or anywhere.</p>
<p>Or maybe you want to buy a TRX but are wondering what kind of exercises you can do with it.  </p>
<p>The guy in this video has his TRX Suspension Trainer attached to a wall in a gym but your TRX can easily be attached to a door using the optional door attachment or to a wall using the optional wall attachment kit or you can even attach the TRX to a tree or sturdy post to workout outside. </p>
<p>The TRX may look unimpressive &#8230;like just some limp straps but the TRX allows you to leverage your bodyweight  to exercise your core with each and every exercise.</p>
<p>The TRX actually outperforms traditional home gyms that exercise one body part at a time because with each exercise your body is forced to balance itself and work your core muscles in the process.     </p>

<p>I found a great article that is ideal for you if you would like to exercise less and benefit more.</p>
<p>Or if you would like to burn more fat in a shorter period of time with an invigorating metabolic workout as opposed to a slow workout where you are slogging away on a treadmill or stationary bike for hours on end.</p>
<p>If you have tried going the slow boring traditional  cardio route you have probably found that with time it quit working and that this old approach may have even served to help you gain weight.</p>

<p>I tried doing an hour a day on my treadmill while watching T.V. as the pounds piled on.</p>
<p>But I have moved on and now I have new guru&#8217;s and new beliefs that serve me better.</p>

<p>They differ some on the workouts that they choose but they all prefer intense metabolic workouts that get you where you are huffing and puffing as you focus on the intensity of your workout as opposed to mindlessly peddling or walking while you watch T.V.</p>

<p>You may know I&#8217;ve been called the anti-cardio guy before, but this week I&#8217;m back posing the question to you&#8230; <strong>Do you really need cardio training to get lean and in great shape?</strong></p>

<p>Mike Geary says that exercises like leg curls, tricep presses, bicep curls, leg extensions are a waste of time if you are looking to get a rock hard and functional body.</p>
<p>He says that you need to spend your time doing exercises that will exercise large groups of muscles and that you need to stop trying to isolate a single muscle group.</p>
<p>Mike brazenly states that if you dont believe him then go to your gym and observe overweight and out of shape people who are pumping away doing long boring mindless cardio and not getting much result to show for all their work.</p>

<p>The Front Squat:</p>
<p>As you may have already discovered, the squat is at the top of the heap (along with deadlifts) as one of the most effective overall exercises for stimulating body composition changes (muscle gain and fat loss).</p>
<p>This is because exercises like squats and deadlifts use more muscle groups under a heavy load than almost any other weight bearing exercises known to man.</p>
<p>Hence, these exercises stimulate the greatest hormonal responses (growth hormone, testosterone, etc.) of all exercises.</p>
<p>In fact, university research studies have even proven that inclusion of squats into a training program increases upper body development, in addition to lower body development, even though upper body specific joint movements are not performed during the squat.</p>
<p>Whether your goal is gaining muscle mass, losing body fat, building a strong and functional body, or improving athletic performance, the basic squat and deadlift (and their variations) are the ultimate solution.</p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t believe me that squats and deadlifts are THE basis for a lean and powerful body, then go ahead and join all of the other overweight people pumping away mindlessly for hours on boring cardio equipment.</p>
<p>You won&#8217;t find long boring cardio in any of my programs!</p>
<p>Squats can be done with any free weighted objects such as barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, sandbags, or even just body weight.</p>
<div>Squats should only be done with free weights &#8211; NEVER with a Smith machine or any other squat machines! Machines do not allow your body to follow natural, biomechanically-correct movement paths.</div>
