Hey how does TRX help me besides my core strength. I’m a running back and I want to be able to take big hits and still be on my feet. I’m wondering if I do TRX will that also help me with say my bench, squat and deadlift maxes (they test those in college) as well as my overall core strength, speed and quickness?

Dave great question… The TRX uses your bodyweight to leverage gravity. This helps to build functional strength. The TRX if used properly should improve your speed, strength and quickness. You might want to check out the TRX Team Sports DVD. Todd Durkin is on the DVD and he is a top NFL speed and strength trainer. His clients include Drew Brees, Reggie Bush and Ladainian Tomlinson.. all three are TRX users. I think you will like the TRX because you will be able to train anywhere with it even on the road or in a hotel room. Good luck with your football career.
