The TRX if used properly should improve your speed, strength and quickness.  You might want to check out the TRX Team Sports DVD.  Todd Durkin is on the DVD and he is a top NFL speed and strength trainer.  His clients include Drew Brees, Reggie Bush and Ladainian Tomlinson..  all three are TRX users.  I think you will like the TRX because you will be able to train anywhere with it even on the road or in a hotel room.  Good luck with your football career.</description>
